Japanese White-eye

The Mejiro/Japnese White-eye (Zosterops japonicus), also known as the Mejiro (メジロ, 目白) with Cherry Blossoms makes for some of the most fantastic birding there is on our planet, these two together in the wild are only found in Japan. The Mejiro loves nourishing sweet nectar of the Cherry Blossoms just as the flower blooms, timing is crucial to be able to capture these two together. Annually from late February to May, I lead several private guided workshops to photograph the Japanese White-eye and other Species that are either endemic or sub-regional/migratory. Japan is latitudinally long at 3000km, with 6852 Islands over 430 these are accessible and sparsely populated. Japan a birders paradise, also happens to be the camera capital of our planet!

Spring of 2018 I have several weeks available for private birding workshops, reasonable rates
