Japan is famous for Cherry Blossoms for several good reasons, they are usually in full bloom around the beginning of April, in the Kanto region, this is also the month that the new school year starts for Japanese children; it’s also the month when companies start their new business year. Spring makes us all think of new beginnings with the Cherry Blossom. There are over 200 species of cherry trees in Japan. The blossoms are picked and used for ice cream, traditinal sweets, and someting for everyone "KitKat" with some unusual tastes, and Japanese Sake alcohol drink. Personally, I like the ice cream best. 

The Sakura start to bloom in the south from March and work their way north to Hokkaido in May; this helps my clients and me to plan our spring photo tour agenda/vacations. One of my business times of the year, photography clients book a few days to a couple of weeks for my private guided workshops, a year in advance. This year our spring group tour will stop in to visit with the snow monkeys and blossoms. This year is looking up to be another epic Spring Gala, in search for "the perfect cherry blossom."
