Millions each year search for the perfect Cherry Blossom, " just a moment" - "what is the Perfect Cherry Blossom?" Annually while on photo tour Hokkaido - photo tour Okinawa - photo tour Japan, myself and participants have and will puzzle over this. The movie the Last Samurai has its interpretation, one of the main cast is a friend of mine, each spring we view the blossom in Tokyo together puzzling over this. As a historian, photographer, and educator I have found the perfect bloom is noncognitive, considering our views change by the season! If our minds are empty, we are ready for anything without expectations; the trick is to learn to remember your first smile of each day, perpetually.
