Professional Product Photography

Professional product photography is a passion of mine! This shot I took of a stunning display of Myanmar Jadeite and Native American Jewelry with high-end turquoise created and crafted by my friend and fellow photographer Arland Ben.
Most important when wanting/needing to obtain a tack sharp image is the focal point; from experience, I knew it would not be the large rock in the background or the turquoise nuggets in the foreground. After calculating common "Depth of Field Calculations" and a few test shots my point of focus was 1 1/2 inches 3.81 centimeters in front of the turquoise nuggets, between the middle ground and the foreground to get this tack sharp image.
