Currently, I am leading another, Mt. Fuji ‘Snow Monkey and Hokkaido PHotogaphy Tour group and in my opinion, there is no better place to start a photography expedition in Japan than it's iconic symbol Mt. Fuji.

The past few days the group and I have had beautiful blue skies with cool temperatures to photograph around the handsome volcano from the golden hour to twilight. Mt. Fuji is Japan's most sacred and highest peak at 3,776m (12,380ft), it has been worshiped over since humans have lived nearby. Our journey has taken us around the Fuji five lakes at the base of the mountain comprising of Yamanakako, Kawaguchiko, Saiko, Shojiko and Motosuko lakes.
