Shadows & product photography, by the rule, are not ascetically pleasing. This life-sized carving, I used several flashes to create my artistic perception, my client was thrilled, with this images. Commercial product photography, I find calmly relaxing.
I could have used Photoshop to create the perfect shadows, & taken less time on set. But I am nostalgic at times, plus its good practice & pleasingly fun, to be creative.
