The black kite or in Japanese ‘Tombi’, are members of ‘Accipitridae’ family. They are the worlds most abundant raptor species, with well over six million world wide.
I have photographed them on all ‘Continents’ they live on. While photographing wildlife, I'm looking for the right angle. Witch is usually from an angle we normally don’t view them. In this case I spent time learning this ‘Black Kites’ feeding habits. After I watched & as an eager student of this ‘Tombi's’, it was as if I was on the boardwalk, photographing a high fashion model. Needless to say it’s been several years since I have been on the boardwalk, preferring our feathered friends.
