Winter in Japan has a special feel, in some parts it feels winter never arrived, thats because we are subtropical to subarctic. In the a.m. we are enjoying a Kiku Flower festival in short sleeve shirts, after our short flight to Hokkaido we are in snow country, with the Red Crowned Cranes. Then after a few days we are off to enjoy hot spring with The Snow Monkeys.
