Mention spring in Japan and most persons immediately think of Hanami/Cherry Blossom Viewing parties. Often their thoughts don’t go much further understandably! As a local professional photographer living and traveling throughout beautiful Japan, Spring is ecstatically bright; especially in the pristine highland mountain ranges. Lakes are at their cleanest this time of year with rivers and streams burbling carrying along the melted snow and ice. Landscapes are perfect as a painting, with other famous flowers trees as the peach blossoms with their heavenly scented pebbles. Japan is a nation of festivals now springs pick, Matsumoto Castle one of my favourites, the lighting of the castle, tea ceremony while traditional Japanese musicians entertain; where once strolled the Samurai Elite The Shogun!
