The whopper Swan with its mysterious beauty, has drawn me in to make an annual pilgrimage each winter for over 30 years, before their early winter flight back to Siberia. In areas of Japan, it’s not uncommon for them to gather in groups of several thousand, for the next few days the Japan photo tour group I’m leading, will be following a group of over 3000 whopper swans.
