Stepping off the beaten tourist path is the best way to ensure your experience will be the authentic Japan real and unstaged. Our Japan Photography Tour is balanced giving participants the unique insight into both worlds and the many wonderful cultural experiences. We take great pride in our work and our clients needs are paramount. For over 20 years we have been providing the very best photo adventures throughout Japan. For centuries artisans have been mesmerized by Mount Fuji, and it's breathtaking beauty, such artists as Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai, best known for his 36 views of Mount Fuji. To see over 10 of the aspects of Mt. Fuji one must be willing to step off that touristy path, or just be satisfied with that touristy snapshot that millions take annually. In 1998 Nagano Japan hosted the Winter Olympics and was flooded with tourists for several years on and off the touristy path. Interestingly today the snow monkeys remain the most famous in Nagano, which we include on our annual Hokkaido photo tour, and our spring and autumn photo tours. We enjoy visiting with the snow monkeys all year round, not just when there is snow on the ground. The prefecture still receives many visitors, but the majority stick to the tourist brochure including many of the so-called top international photo tours. In 2020 Tokyo will host the summer Olympic games, we will be providing a private photo tour and workshop of Tokyo and locations on and off the touristy path. To such places as Tokyo sky tree, the crossing outside the Shibuya Station, Ginza shopping district, the imperial palace plus Kamakura temples and shrines plus many others. Off the tourist path, we will be offering visits into the heart of Tokyo, and into the neighboring valleys, also to a (Master Japanese Swordsmith) photographing as he forges the legendary Samurai Katana, the masters are available by appointment only).
