Drive to Motosuko, Yamanashi. Mt. Fuji, the sacred Volcano is a spectacular and mystical place. Inhabitants have revered the volcano for thousands of years and settled there, the first peoples of Japan the Ainu were the first worship Mt. Fuji!
The Fuji five lake. Interestingly over 95% of Japanese people have never visited the Fuji five lakes, all of our Mt. Fuji clients do!

The Sea Of Trees, In the year 864 was the great eruption of the Jougan era of Mt. Fuji creating this fantastic Aokigahara Jukai, “the sea of trees,” spreading across the Northwest foot of mt. Fuji. The Aokigahara forest trees grow in natural volcanic planting pots, in rich peat moss since there is no soil in the forest. The forest spans over 3000 hectares, it comprises of primary of hemlock fir, Japanese cypress, plus other evergreen trees, and broadleafs such as the longstalk holly, Japanese andromeda, oak, Fuji cherry, and maple. Caves and ice caves there is no accurate count of the number caves and some with ice throughout the year. The forests popularity is growing among fine art photographer with its incalculable mythological forms appearing from tree roots and moss growing in around and over volcanic lava.

☞Day 2, 3, Tuesday - Wednesday, July 23 - 24.
After breakfast and check out at our lodgings in Mt. Fuji, we will drive to Hakone, Onsen village, a volcanic complex which is a huge complex x 2 overlapping calderas, the larger is 10by11 kilometers.
We will visit the most photogenic spots in Hakone region and visit the next prefecture Shizuoka and the Mt. Fuji UNESCO building for a stunning sunset and architectural photography.
